  • Conduct mixed methods data analyses on social media posts relating to COVID-19, cannabis, and other health topics, culminating in three journal publications.

Global Agriculture and Food Systems Policy Consultant

  • Developed the Global Agriculture and Food Systems Policy Strategy by synthesizing input from multiple internal teams, creating a comprehensive guide for programming and decision-making. This strategy effectively communicates conservation outcomes, alignment with organizational goals, and resource requirements to executive leadership.

  • Facilitated program design process with newly formed team and designed evaluation to assess real-world global impacts of program on agri-food system policy and practice. 

  • Drafted brief memos succinctly conveying information about a wide variety of topics including agricultural methane, the food security and national security nexus, and policy indicators for conservation; memos used by supervisors to prepare for conferences and meetings with executive leadership. 

  • Reviewed UN Convention documents to inform strategy in conference preparations and analyzed the unique role that TNC can play in global dialogues about agri-food systems across Conventions.

  • Visited congressional offices advocating for climate action and provided a policy brief on nature-based climate solutions as a key area for future federal appropriations.
